Many reportedly killed as Boko Haram members attack Maiduguri


Many persons have reportedly been killed after Boko Haram members attacked Maiduguri, the Borno state capital this evening February 23. HumAngle reports that the sect members stormed the Kaleria area close to the University of Maiduguri, firing multiple rockets and killing dozens of persons. Many persons are said to have sustained serious injuries from the attack. Unconfirmed reports claim worshippers at a mosque on ”Layin Bori” street in the area may have been killed in the attack. The military has deployed gun trucks to the area.The post Many reportedly killed as Boko Haram members attack Maiduguri appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
